To celebrate the upcoming release of our new book, Lives Lost and Leadership Found: Lessons from Special Somebodies, we are hosting a Virtual Book event, the “Special Somebodies Summit,” via Zoom on October 7, 2025, from 11:00 am ET to 3:30 pm ET … and you’re invited!

The book explores how the experience of losing a special somebody transforms us and shapes who we become as leaders. It is is a collection of deeply personal essays from dozens of contributors, paired with reflections and original research from lead author Ian Ziskin.
